Privacy

Papayra collects nothing.

No document ever leaves your device. Effective 21 October 2026.

The short version. No document ever leaves your Mac, iPhone or iPad: Papayra opens, edits and saves your documents on your device. When it opens, the program fetches its purchase settings from papayra.com and sends nothing else. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising, in the apps or on this website. Papayra’s App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.

In the apps

  • Your documents stay on your device. Every page you open is read, drawn, edited and saved by Papayra on your Mac, iPhone or iPad. We never receive your documents or anything in them.
  • One settings check. When it opens, Papayra fetches a small settings file from papayra.com (papayra.com/app/purchase-config.json) that tells it when to offer the free trial and the purchase. The request carries no account, no device identifier and nothing from your documents, and Papayra sends nothing else. Like every request to our server, it appears in the server’s technical logs (the internet address it came from and the time), which we use only to keep the site running and secure.
  • No account. There is nothing to sign up for or sign in to, so we hold no profile about you.
  • No analytics or tracking. The apps contain no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers or location.
  • Files you choose. Papayra opens only the files you choose to open, and saves where you choose to save.

Purchases

When you buy Papayra or start the yearly plan on the App Store, Apple handles the payment and the renewals. We do not receive your payment details.

On this website

  • No cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
  • No fonts, scripts or images are loaded from anyone else’s servers: everything comes from papayra.com.
  • Like every web server, ours keeps technical logs of requests (such as the address a request came from and the page asked for). We use them only to keep the site running and secure; we do not use them to identify you or to profile you, and we do not share or sell them.

If you email us

If you write to us, we receive your email address and what you send, and we use them only to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list. Please don’t send confidential documents; if we need a sample to solve a problem, we’ll ask for one you’re comfortable sharing.

Children

Papayra collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will post the new version here with its effective date. We will not start collecting data from the apps without saying so here first.
